The DPV Board is working with an engineer from the Davido Consulting Group and they have almost completed the USDA required preliminary report on our water system to include an environmental and archeologist report. We will keep you posted on our progress. Below is the final archeologist report.
Members of the DPV Board met with a representative from the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) on December 2, 2019, to discuss applying for a loan to fund the reconstruction of our water system (new infrastructure, pipes) with a subcomponent to connect to North Whidbey Water District and City of Oak Harbor for emergency water access. The following DPV residents received a water system connection for their properties at the 2020 annual meeting. Connections were distributed via lottery. Recipients are required to pay a $15,000 connection fee.
