The Association has transitioned to a new water management provider, Whidbey Water Services. All residents should have received an April statement. This statement included the water meter readings for Dec-Jan and Feb-Mar. If you had a past due water balance and/or a past due annual dues balance, that was also listed on this statement. We are still in the process of verifying account balances and insuring all residents who paid the Association directly from January-April receive appropriate account credits. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
For water issues, please contact Whidbey Water Services directly at 360-579-1535 or 360-579-1956.
Water System USDA Loan
The DPV Board is working with an engineer from the Davido Consulting Group and they have completed the USDA required preliminary report on our water system to include an environmental and archeologist report. The treasurer and president have completed all the required documents and our loan application has been submitted. We will continue to keep you posted on our progress. Below are the final archeologist, preliminary and environment reports.
Members of the DPV Board met with a representative from the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) on December 2, 2019, to discuss applying for a loan to fund the reconstruction of our water system (new infrastructure, pipes) with a subcomponent to connect to North Whidbey Water District and City of Oak Harbor for emergency water access. Read the report below for more information.
The following DPV residents received a water system connection for their properties at the 2020 annual meeting. Connections were distributed via lottery. Recipients are required to pay a $15,000 connection fee.
